The FluxSIM is an excellent teaching tool. The FluxSIM software uses a nonlinear mathematical model of the lung, the thoracic cavity and the airway. It allows an easy evaluation and analysis of patient models given different situations. It can simulate different pathologies and dynamically change a patient’s condition (resistance, compliance) seeing, in real time, how that patient responds to different conditions. Ventilatory modes and parameters and can also be changed to visualize the effects that these take.

FluxSIM software has a similar interface to the FluxView. It’s simple and easy to use and allows the visualization of all the parameters, loops, waveforms and tendencies.

Compatibility

The FluxSIM software can be downloaded to any Windows (7 or above) computer and used to analyse recorded signals without having a FluxMed monitor connected.
